Iranian-backed Houthi forces in Yemen have targeted the US aircraft carrier USS Harry Truman for the third time in 48 hours. Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree claimed the attack involved two cruise missiles and two drones, while another US warship was also targeted.

In response, US airstrikes hit multiple Houthi-controlled sites in Yemen, killing 53 people, including children and women, and injuring 98. Former US President Donald Trump warned that any Houthi attack would be considered an act by Iran, vowing severe consequences. The Houthis have been attacking Israeli-linked ships since November and vow to continue until aid reaches Gaza.
