Philippine Defense Secretary Gilbert Teodoro reported that a pregnant woman died, four injured, and nine others went missing due to the tremor caused by the 7.6-magnitude earthquake that occurred off Mindanao Island yesterday. Although buildings received no major damage, locals in many towns near the epicenter remain outdoors. Meanwhile, the tsunami warning issued after the earthquake was later cancelled.
