A Piper PA-28 light aircraft that took off from the Trento-Mattarello Airport in Italy with 3 people landed on a snow-covered area on the Lagorai mountain range due to a failure in the engine. After performing the emergency landing on the sloppy mountain at an altitude of 2,100 meters, the 22-year-old young pilot, with his brother and girlfriend, were rescued and transferred to a hospital by helicopter to receive medical examination .
