An armed woman was hit by a police car to be neutralized after opening fire and threatening people around in Bellmore, New York. The 33-year-old black woman, who was arrested twice since last June for theft and trespassing as well, was slightly injured. The suspect is facing multiple charges, including endangerment of the public, third-degree threats, and possession of a weapon.

The Nassau Police Chief said in an announcement that the officers’ action to hit the suspect with their car was in accordance with the protocol as she was threatening the lives of the officers and the public.
