Pope Francis, the spiritual leader of Catholics, was discharged from Gemelli Hospital in Rome, Italy, on June 7 following a successful hernia surgery. The 86-year-old Pope had been admitted to the hospital due to an abdominal hernia and underwent a three-hour operation.
Following his departure from the hospital, Pope Francis returned to the Vatican in his car.
