Pro-peace Jewish groups gathered at the famous Grand Central train station in New York, USA upon the call of the group called ‘Jewish Voice for Peace’. The demonstrators, who held a sit-in protest in the main passenger hall of the station, called for Israel to stop its attacks on Gaza and declare a ceasefire with their black t-shirts and banners.
The New York Police Department intervened in the demonstrators after the station was closed and detained at least 200 people.
