Protests against Russia in Germany

An anti-Russian protest was held in Cologne, Germany. Thousands of people participated in the protest in the historic Dom Cathedral Square, while demonstrators carried Ukrainian flags with banners reading “Killer Putin”, “No to war” and “NATO, close airspace”. It was mentioned in the speeches of representatives of political parties and non-governmental organizations during the protest, which began with the singing of the Ukrainian National Anthem, that Russia should withdraw from Ukraine’s territory, and that EU countries should provide more aid to Ukraine.

Anti-Russian protests drew over 100,000 people in Berlin, Germany’s capital. Thousands marched to the Brandenburg Gate near the Russian embassy in central Berlin, carrying banners that read “Stop the War,” “Putin’s Last War,” and “We Stand with Ukraine.”
