Rental prices in Reyhanlı, Hatay, have significantly decreased as Syrians continue returning to their country following the fall of the Baath regime. The district, once a key refuge for migrants, saw rents peak after the earthquake but is now experiencing a surplus of vacant properties.
Real estate agent Sedat Sekin noted that rental prices, which once reached 16,000 TL, have now dropped to 8,000-12,000 TL, with many apartments struggling to find tenants. Meanwhile, property sale prices have also declined, with some Syrians selling homes at losses to facilitate their return.
