Infrastructure restoration is underway in Manbij, recently cleared of the PKK/YPG terrorist organization by the Syrian National Army (SNA). Roads leading to the city are being repaved after an eight-year halt. Construction teams from Çobanbey Municipality have begun asphalting routes from the Euphrates Shield region to Manbij.
Çobanbey Mayor Mahmut Hasan stated, “We started rebuilding the bypass from Çobanbey to Manbij immediately after the region’s liberation. All roads will be completed in 2-3 days.”
Calling for unity, Hasan urged Syrians in Türkiye to return, saying, “Syria has been liberated. Let’s rebuild our country together for a peaceful and prosperous future.”
