In Boulder, Colorado, USA, 8 people were injured when a man attacked participants of a weekly march supporting Israeli hostages using incendiary materials and Molotov cocktails. The FBI is treating the assault as a “targeted act of terrorism.”
Authorities say 45-year-old Mohamed Sabry Soliman launched the attack during the “Run for Their Lives” event. Witnesses said he shouted “Freedom for Palestine” while attacking the crowd. Victims, aged 52 to 88, were hospitalized, with at least one in critical condition.
FBI Director Kash Patel confirmed the attack was politically or ideologically motivated. The suspect, also injured and in custody, is not believed to be linked to any organization.
The Justice Department is working with local authorities on a full investigation. Boulder’s district attorney pledged full legal action, and the White House said President Donald Trump has been briefed.
