Russia Accuses Ukraine in Plane Downfall, Cites Patriot Missile System

The Russian Investigative Committee released new images of the Il-76 military transport plane crash that killed 65 Ukrainian soldiers. The committee alleges that the plane was shot down by the Ukrainian Armed Forces using Patriot systems. According to the committee, evidence from the crash site points to the use of MIM-104A anti-aircraft guided missiles, elements of the US Patriot systems. The investigation is ongoing.
