Russia has launched an offensive against Ukraine, which has been advancing in the Kursk region since August 6. The Russian Defense Ministry said that 10 settlements, including Apanasovka, Byakhovo, Vishnyovka, Viktorovka, Vnezapnoye, Gordeyevka, Krasnooktybrskoye, Obukhovo, Snagost and Desyaty Oktyabr, were liberated during the attacks in the last two days. The ministry also reported that the Ukrainian army lost more than 300 soldiers and 24 armored vehicles.

On the 8th day of its offensive against Iran, the Israeli army carried out overnight airstrikes targeting missile production facilities and nuclear weapons research centers in Tehran. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that dozens of sites, including the Spand nuclear research center, were hit in efforts to disrupt Iran’s nuclear weapons program.

The Israeli Air Force also struck missile and radar systems in both Tehran and Isfahan.
