Russia hit 16 Ukrainian targets with missiles

Russia continues its attacks on Ukraine. Chief Spokesperson for the Ministry of Defence of the Russia Igor Konashenkov announced that an armored military vehicle manufacturing facility in Ukraine’s capital of Kyiv was hit by Russian missiles at night. “Long-range air-launched precision weapons eliminated the production facilities of the armor plant in Kiev and military hardware repair workshops in Nikolayev. During the night, 16 enemy targets were hit with high-precision air-launched missiles. The targets destroyed included areas of the Ukrainian military hardware and armaments in the populated areas of Povstanskoye in the Odessa Region, Barvenkovo, Lisichansk, Sribnoye, Petrovskoye and Opytnoye, and also 2 artillery arms depots near Nikolayev, the radar and communications equipment storage center southeast of Poltava,” Konashenkov said during his statement.

Meanwhile, Konashenkov also noted that Russian air defense systems shot down a Ukrainian Su-25 aircraft in the air, 15 kilometers south of the city of Izyum. “Operational-tactical aircraft eliminated 67 Ukrainian military personnel and hardware overnight. In total, 133 aircraft, 458 Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV), 246 anti-aircraft missile systems, 2,246 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 252 multiple rocket launchers, 981 field artillery vehicles and mortars, as well as 2,146 special military vehicles were destroyed since the beginning of the special military operation,” Konashenkov said in his statement.
