Russian army has allegedly attacked the Azovstal steel Plant in Mariupol, Ukraine, with a phosphorus bomb. Adviser to the Mayor of Mariupol, Petro Andriushchenko, said in a statement, “Yesterday, the invaders used incendiary bombs or phosphorus bombs for the first time against the defenders of Mariupol (we will leave the result to the experts). The occupants claim that they used a 9M22C fire bomb with a thermite layer. Combustion temperature is about 2500 degrees Celsius. It’s almost impossible to stop the burning,” he said.

About 600 soldiers wounded without access to medical aid stay at the Azovstal plant, which is under Russian siege, Ukrainian media reported. Ukraine had previously offered Russia to exchange Russian prisoners of war for the evacuation of seriously wounded soldiers from Azovstal.
