Russian Ambassador to Poland Sergey Andreyev attended the ceremonies in the mausoleum built for the Soviet Union soldiers who lost their lives in the Second World War in Warsaw, the capital of Poland. While Andreyev was laying a wreath on the monument, a group started to protest Russia and Andreyev, shouting “Fascists”. The demonstrators threw the red paint into the ambassador’s face, continued their slogans as the ambassador was surrounded by the guards.
The ceremonies ended after the Russian ambassadors and diplomats place wreaths and red carnations on the monument.
