Sadr supporters stormed Republican Palace after Mukteda Sadr announced withdrawal from politics. Invaders broke into the pool inside the Republican Palace. Iraqi Joint Operations Command announced that the curfew order will be issued for the capital Baghdad after 15:30.
Mukteda Sadr had posted his withdraw decision on his social media account. He also announced that all foundations, excluding the turbe and museum belonging to Sadr Movement, will be shut down.
