Scholz: “Erdogan, Sisi and the Emir of Qatar Can Reduce the Tension in Israel”

In his address to the parliament, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz made statements regarding the impact of other countries on the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. Addressing the matter of hostage releases, Scholz mentioned that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Egyptian President Abdul Fattah al-Sisi, and Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani could play important roles in reducing tensions in the Hamas-Israel conflict. Scholz also emphasized the possibility of Iran supporting Hamas attacks, though no definitive evidence supports this claim.

On another note, it has been reported that Germany will suspend all aid projects for Palestine until the necessary reviews are completed to ensure they best serve regional peace and Israel’s security.
