Tensions are high in the Middle East due to Iran’s expected retaliatory attack on Israel following the assassination of Hamas Political Bureau Chairman Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran on July 31.

The US deployed the “USS Theodore Roosevelt” aircraft carrier in the region in mid-July.
