Several waterspouts appeared in the sea after the rain that started in the morning in the Iskenderun district of Türkiye’s Hatay province. The waterspouts were recorded by sailors off the coast of Iskenderun. The waterspouts, which were more than four in number, caused panic with their enormity.

Istanbul Airport saw heavy crowds as travelers returned from the Ramadan holiday. Passengers arriving from domestic and international destinations caused congestion at the airport. Authorities, including İGA and airline staff, took measures to manage the influx, while police kept passport control points fully operational to reduce wait times. Airport personnel also assisted passengers in baggage claim and exit areas.
