A helicopter that had gone missing in Nepal while en route to Kathmandu with six people crashed near the Lamjura Pass in Solukhumbu district. All passengers in the aircraft, consisting of six Mexican passengers and a Nepalese pilot, lost their lives. The bodies of the victims were brought to the Teaching Hospital in Kathmandu by helicopter.
