It has been reported that children in the Gaza Strip, which is under Israeli attack, are frequently suffering from skin diseases due to the failure of the sewage system, the accumulation of tons of garbage on the streets, and limited access to cleaning materials and healthy foods that strengthen the immune system.
Speaking about the disease spreading especially among children, Wissam Al Sakani, spokesperson for Kamal Adwan Hospital in the north of the region, said that hundreds of children and women coming to the hospital are struggling with vitiligo, scabies, and other skin diseases, and that if medicines to treat skin diseases are not brought urgently, the people of Gaza will face a health disaster.
