Snowmelt Brings Abundance to Streams in Türkiye

As temperatures rise in Sason district, Batman, the snow-covered peaks of Mereto, Zoveser, Helkıs, Golan, and Sintör mountains are thawing, leading to an increase in water flow. The melting snow has given rise to natural waterfalls and rejuvenated stream beds across the district. Notably, the ancient plane trees and the Sevek fountain in the Sevek natural recreation area have come to life with the influx of melted snow.
