Two hikers stranded in the mountains of Antalya, Türkiye, were safely recovered in a dramatic 10-hour rescue operation. After trekking through steep terrain in the Konyaaltı district to visit a natural pool they saw on social media, the pair lost their way in the dark. Utilizing their mobile phone’s SOS feature, they successfully sent their exact coordinates to relatives, prompting an immediate emergency response. Search and rescue crews used drones to pinpoint the uninjured hikers among the rocky cliffs and safely guided them back through sudden heavy rain.
