The South Korean army apologized over the Hyunmoo-2 ballistic missile that fell into the military base area in the city during an exercise and caused panic amongst South Koreans. The incident didn’t cause any loss of life. However, the residents of the region living near the base experienced great panic due to the sound of the explosion. Authorities stated that the missile had a warhead but did not explode.
