South Korea Completes KF-21 Fighter Jet Flight Tests

South Korea announced it has successfully completed all planned flight tests of its domestically developed KF-21 fighter jet. The Defense Acquisition Programme Administration (DAPA) said around 1,600 test flights have been conducted since April 2021 without accidents, with the test phase finishing two months ahead of schedule. DAPA aims to deliver the first mass-produced KF-21 aircraft to the South Korean Air Force in the second half of this year, replacing aging F-4 and F-5 jets.
