The Spanish Ministry of Health published the 2022 activity data of National Transplant Organization and celebrated the success of the National Transplant Program for the increase in the operations performed in the field. “In 2022, Spain had an increase in organ transplant activities of 13 percent over the previous year with the realization of 5,383 procedures, which means that every day in our country around 15 transplants are performed,” reported Health Minister, Carolina Darias.
Darias also touched on the generosity of Spanish people as the percentage of the families who lost their loved ones and accepted to donate showed 84.
