Located in the Çınarcık district of Yalova, Karlık Plateau offers a visual feast with the pond and forest scenery consisting of snow water. The people living in Esenköy, formerly known as Katırlı, had snow wells that met the snow and ice needs of Istanbul in the Ottoman Empire.
