Employees at the world-famous coffee chain Starbucks went on strike in New York, USA, during the company’s ‘Red Cup Day’ event. The workers walked off their workplace demanding improved working conditions. Starbucks confirmed that workers from dozens of shops across the country participated in the strike, with more than half of its shops continuing to serve customers.
