A powerful storm battered Oaxaca, the capital city of the state of the same name, resulting in severe flooding and material damage. The storm caused widespread chaos, with vehicles being swept away by the deluge, trees uprooted, and a palm tree catching fire after being struck by lightning.
Although there were no casualties reported, civil defense teams and municipal personnel are currently working to repair the damage and provide support to those affected.
