The Storm Hermine caused heavy rains and fierce winds in Canary Islands, Spain. According to AENA, the 141 flights in 6 separate airports were suspended due to the storm. The schools around the islands will also be closed tomorrow.
The Gran Canaria, Tenerife and El Hierro islands are struggling with landslides and the falling trees that are blocking traffic while the La Palma and Tenerife islands are facing flooding problems.
Spain’s State Meteorological Agency issued a red warning for the Gran Canaria, La Palma and El Hierro islands and advised the citizens to take strict measures.
