Thousands of people in the Hatay province of Türkiye took to the streets to commemorate the thousands of people who died in the two earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaraş that occurred on February 6, 2023, on the disaster’s 2nd anniversary.
The crowd gathered in the Antakya district and held a silent march towards the Köprübaşı area, where a moment of silence was observed, the Turkish national anthem was sung and everyone laid carnations on the Asi River.
