Thousands of people in Ukraine protested against Russia

As the crisis between Russia and Ukraine continued, anti-Russian protests were held in Ukraine’s second largest city Kharkiv. While thousands of people gathered against the Russia, the demonstrators have carried Ukrainian flags with banners reading “Kharkiv is Ukraine” and “Stop Russian aggression” in the protest. During the protest, the demonstrators sang the national anthem of Ukraine and they also carried the flags of allies such as the US, the UK and the European Union (EU) that support Ukraine against Russia. The demonstrators emphasized that Kharkiv is a Ukrainian city and they hit the streets to show that they would not surrender it.

On the other hand, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had been identified Kharkiv, where its located at 42 kilometers from the Russian border, as a possible Russian target. But later on, his Spokesperson had said that Zelensky was speaking hypothetically.
