A tornado suddenly occurred in the morning hours in Merkez Ölçülü village of Kars province in Türkiye, damaging barns by blowing away their roofs and causing the death of many animals, including chickens and birds. Many birds that had made their nests on the roofs also perished. Casim Morkoç, one of the villagers, stated that nearly a hundred of his chickens perished.
