The interest of foreigners in Japan, which received record numbers of tourists in June and July, continued this month. Harajuku and Shibuya, two of Tokyo’s most popular tourist areas, were visited by a surge of foreign visitors over the weekend.
According to the Japan National Tourism Organization, 3.14 million foreigners visited the country, breaking a record. However, the number increased to 3.29 million in July.
