A passenger train derailment in Russia’s Komi Republic has resulted in three fatalities. The train, traveling from Vorkuta to Novorossiysk, derailed, with nine carriages off the tracks and 232 passengers on board. The Russian Investigation Committee confirmed finding the bodies of three victims and stated that heavy rain likely caused soil under the rails to shift. A P-3 patrol aircraft belonging to the South Korean Navy crashed just 7 minutes after taking off from a military base in Pohang for a training flight. The plane went down at 13:50 local time for reasons yet unknown. Authorities confirmed that four military personnel were on board, and their condition remains under investigation.
