A tram that started moving backwards for an unknown reason crashed into another stationary tram at a metro station in the French city of Strasbourg yesterday, leaving 68 injured while 100 others survived without any injuries, according to the governor’s office.
An investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the accident and to determine any criminal responsibility, while Deputy Prosecutor Alexandre Chevrier said, “The initial investigation has eliminated the hypothesis that it was a deliberate act.”
