A tram accident occurred in Samsun when a tram collided with a malfunctioning tram on the Mert River Bridge, resulting in 26 injuries, with 2 individuals in critical condition. The tram driver was rescued by firefighters, and several passengers on both trams sustained injuries. Medical teams transported the injured to hospitals.

Zeus Cave in Kuşadası, Türkiye, has reopened to visitors after being temporarily closed due to landslide risks.
Located in the Dilek Peninsula Büyük Menderes Delta National Park, the cave was shut down following a risk assessment report highlighting safety concerns. Officials confirmed that the area has now been secured, and visitors are welcome between 08:00 and 17:00.
