Spring has slowly begun to emerge in Turkey’s Bitlis province, which received more than 10 meters of snowfall this winter. While the city center experiences spring, where the snow has begun to melt completely, the winter can still be found in the high areas surrounding the city. Two seasons coexist, particularly in the mountains between Tatvan and Van. While flowers are blooming and greening on the sunlit slopes of the mountains to the right and left of the main road, there is still meters of snow in places that do not receive sunlight.
