Freezing cold hits Turkey’s northeasternmost province of Ardahan as temperatures hit -14 in the region. Trees are engulfed in frost, and the river Kura passing through the region is partly frozen. People coming from the warmer region of the southern east of Turkey have expressed their surprise, as they had never seen this much cold in their hometowns.
