A Turkish artist, Metin Birecikligil, collected discarded materials such as paper, fabric, yarn, balloons, and toothpicks, and made paintings from these materials. Paintings portraying scenes from Turkish cinema made in this technique are going to be displayed in Izmir on April 10. The proceeds from the exhibition will be donated to the victims of the earthquake.
