Turkish FM Addresses Gaza and Bilateral Relations During Qatar Visit

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan visited Qatar, where he met with Qatar’s Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. During the visit, Minister Fidan expressed concern about what he considered a double standard among some European countries for not condemning or preventing the destruction in Gaza, which he believed was exacerbating global imbalances. The discussions in Qatar primarily focused on Türkiye-Qatar relations, preparations for the 9th Meeting of the Türkiye-Qatar High Strategic Committee, and the current situation in Palestine, as well as regional and international developments.
