Turkish Red Crescent delivered 2,461 briquette houses in Syria

The briquette house project initiated by Turkey, which hosts millions of civilians due to the civil war in Syria with the financing of international aid organizations and Turkish non-governmental organizations, is progressing rapidly. Within the scope of the project, briquette houses are being built in Idlib, Operation Euphrates Shield and Operation Olive Branch regions in northern Syria. The houses built horizontally and vertically are designed as 1+1 and 2+1. The Turkish Red Crescent delivered most of the briquette houses they built in Idlib to the Syrians who became refugees in their own country. Syrians staying in tents are placed in the briquette houses that are completed while the construction continues in different parts of Syria. Turkish Red Crescent’s Syria Country Area Coordinatorship Hatay Team Head Kadir Kemaloğlu announced that within the framework of the project, a total of 5,661 briquette houses are planned to be built in Northern Syria with the contributions of national and international organizations, individual and corporate donors. Kemaloğlu told that 2,461 of the briquette houses have been completed.
