Türkiye and Kazakhstan Cement “Eternal Friendship” Pact

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev have signed a landmark “Declaration of Eternal Friendship and Enhanced Strategic Partnership” during high-level talks in Astana. The agreement was accompanied by the signing of 13 new cooperation deals designed to significantly deepen bilateral ties following comprehensive inter-delegation meetings. Looking ahead to the upcoming Organization of the Turkic World summit, Erdoğan expressed satisfaction that the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus will participate as an observer state. Underscoring strong mutual solidarity, the two leaders also remotely inaugurated a new 32-classroom school in Türkiye’s earthquake-stricken Gaziantep province, built with funding from Kazakhstan.
