During President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s visit to Belgrade, Türkiye and Serbia signed 11 agreements in various fields to strengthen bilateral relations. The signing ceremony, attended by Erdoğan and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, followed the Fourth Meeting of the High-Level Cooperation Council at the Serbian Palace.
Key agreements included memorandums of understanding on cooperation in disaster management, labor, employment, social security, and energy transformation. Additional agreements covered youth, media, sports, and amendments to the Free Trade Agreement between the two countries. The ceremony also saw the signing of a Sister City Protocol between Belgrade and Gaziantep, as well as cooperation protocols between state archives and academic institutions.
