The Turkish Diyanet Foundation (TDV) has begun distributing a thousand food parcels to needy families in Azerbaijan as part of its Ramadan aid program. With cooperation from Turkey’s Baku Embassy, the aid was organized and loaded into vehicles by Ambassador Cahit Bağcı, embassy staff, volunteers from the Religious Affairs Turkish-Islamic Union (DİTİB), TDV, and high school students. The parcels will benefit families in Baku, Saatlı-Sabirabad, and Ganja. Additionally, 3,000 copies of the Holy Quran will be distributed in Azerbaijan during Ramadan as part of TDV’s “Let the Quran be my gift” project.
