The Turkish Diyanet Foundation (TDV) has intensified its preparations for the upcoming holy month of Ramadan, focusing on both domestic and international aid initiatives. With a few days left before the month of Ramadan, TDV is taking proactive steps to address the needs of Rohingya refugee camps in Bangladesh, a region marked by Rohingya Muslims escaping violence in Myanmar. Aid parcels, tailored to meet the specific needs of the Rohingya population, are being meticulously prepared for delivery.
Oğuzhan Adsız, the Bangladesh Coordinator for Türkiye Diyanet Foundation, highlighted the continuous support provided to the region since 2012, emphasizing the foundation’s dedication to various projects ranging from shelter and nutrition to education and health. Adsız expressed the intent to distribute aid to both Rohingya and Bangladeshi families in need during Ramadan, with a particular focus on orphan families under the foundation’s care.
