As heavy rain persisted for about an hour in the city, floods occurred in both rural neighborhoods and residential areas. Shopkeepers erected barricades using iron billboards to safeguard their workplaces from sewage flooding. As creeks overflowed in several neighborhoods, many small animals perished, and the people risked their lives to save the survivors.
