Aftermath of South Korea’s Typhoon Hinnamnor is becoming clearer. According to Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures, the death toll of the typhoon is currently 11. It is also reported that there are 3 injured and 1 missing. South Korea President Yoon Suk-Yeol stated that Pohang is designated as special disaster area as it is the most affected area along the natural disaster. Yoon also stated the Korean government will spare ₩50b ($36m) for the recovery of the damage.
It is reported that 8,328 houses, to which 8,309 belongs North Gyeongsang, and 3,085 commercial buildings were flooded. Thirteen rescued in 8 wrecked houses were taken to a safe place. 4,716 people living in 3,508 houses were temporarily evacuated. Almost all of the 89,203 residences facing power outage were connected once again.
