Ukraine Announces Destruction of Russian Warship Caesar Kunikov

The Ukrainian General Staff has officially declared the destruction of the Russian Black Sea Fleet’s large landing ship, “Caesar Kunikov.” The announcement indicates that Ukraine successfully hit the vessel, situated in Ukrainian territorial waters near Alupka, Crimea. Ukrainian Member of Parliament Oleksiy Honcharenko revealed that the targeted ship had previously been involved in Russia’s military operations in Georgia in 2008.
