UN Camp in Gaza: Palestinians Adopt Rotating Sleep Schedule

Palestinian Faten Abu Shehada, residing in a UN-established tent camp in the southern Gaza Strip, described the camp’s occupants adopting a rotating sleep schedule. The camp was set up by UNRWA to provide refuge for Palestinians fleeing northern Gaza due to Israeli attacks. Shehada shared her journey, health issues, and the lack of medical facilities in the camp. She also expressed frustration with Arab leaders for their response to the crisis.

According to the UN, around 689,000 out of 1.4 million displaced Palestinians in Gaza have sought shelter in 150 UN-affiliated institutions.
